Cheryl & Jonathan wanted to capture their love, their personalities and their story without all of the “fluff” of a typical engagement session. And so we met in an old abandoned warehouse to do everything they love to do together – we laughed, we drank, we smoked and we captured these two being themselves.
And to top it all off… their session was full of history and family heirlooms. Jonathan wore his Grandfather’s wool hat and Cheryl’s Grandfather’s black suspenders. Cheryl wore a crocheted scarf that belonged to Jonathan’s Grandmother and her Grandmother’s earrings. They drank from a vintage whiskey decanter from Jonathan’s Mom and danced the night away to Ray Charles’ Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music Vol II (one of Cheryl and her Grandmother’s favorite albums to listen to together.)
And if you’re ever in Central Florida and looking for a good smoke… the cigars are from Ol’ Times Smoke Shop in Casselberry, FL and Clermont, FL. (which the family owns.)
