From Jen & Ryan’s engagement session, to their backyard Ormond Beach wedding, to their first born in home lifestyle newborn session… we were so thankful to be there for it all. Check out this precious family! We love you guys! -Meagan
First comes love…
Then comes marriage…

]]>So I met up with the Widmaier family in New Smyrna with the approach that we would capture lifestyle photos – their family doing what they would normally do and what they love to do together! No pressure for everyone to look perfect, or be smiling at the camera… it’s a stress free environment and allows kids to be kids and mom and dad to take a deep breath and just enjoy the moment.
After leaving the photo shoot, sweet Jenny kept apologizing for how difficult it was! But lets be honest, raising 4 kids under the age of 7 is no easy feat and then getting them all to stand still & smile (at the same time) takes some patience! This is the season of life they’re in… and as crazy as that might seem, it’s a beautiful season to capture and it’s one that they’ll be able to look back now and remember (maybe with some laughter) at the precious moments when they’re arms were full with these precious little ones.
So here are some thoughts from our session together and some behind the scenes shots of a not-so-perfect family photo session because they’re not supposed to be – tears, screaming, laughter and all!
“We’ve been coming to New Smyrna since our oldest was 5 weeks old… that beach is a part of our family story and where so many of our memories come from.”
]]>“Meagan certainly rose to the occasion and captured our family perfectly. Crying baby, wave jumping, tickling and sand castle building. It’s what we do and what I want to always remember.”
